Fight Hunger

When disaster strikes in Africa, hunger and malnutrition are not far behind. Sayap Africa is on the field where assistance is needed. We go where crisis take place to provide lifesaving food, medical supplies, water and more. Covid-19 a global pandemic hit African families tremendously especially those living in precarious situations. Sayap Africa donated food to more than 3000 poor families in Cameroon and 1000 people in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Sayap Africa’s intervention in food security uses a gender transformative strategic approach that seeks to build social attitudes, behaviors and structures that support gender equality for people in the community.

Rights and wellbeing of the most marginalized population in Africa especially women and girls must be protected. To fight hunger in Africa, we must collaborate with all stakeholders to create sustainable solutions and to address the root behind poverty and hunger in Africa.

Sayap Africa goal is to have at least 50 million poor and vulnerable people in Africa have access to food or improve their nutrition security and their food resilience to climate change. Access, availability, use and stability are the four main concepts to food security in Africa.
