Accountability and Transparency

Sayap Africa headquarters are in California with many focal points throughout Africa. We are committed to meeting international standards of quality and accountability. Guided by our rights-based approach principles, we focus on ensuring that our partners and the communities we serve have a voice in the planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating our work in Africa. Given the vulnerability of disaster-affected populations, we stress out a specific emphasis on integrating humanitarian accountability standards in Sayap Africa relief and emergency response work as well as our training and long-term intervention in Africa.

We are putting in place a Sayap Africa program information and impact reporting system monitors the extent of which we will be making progress to achieve our global impact goals, and our organization data will be published.

Being accountable to our stakeholders means ensuring that we share information in a transparent way, or we will be unable to satisfy any information request, or just providing an explanation. Sayap Africa pledges to post substantial amount of information on the internet, including strategic plans, annual reports, advocacy policy reports, programs and project reports, research reports, external evaluations and media release.
