Summer Camp STEAM projects in a rural place called MVAA. We are highlighting ART mentoring classes

Sayap Africa’s STEAM Summer Classes in a remote rural area are bringing knowledge, creativity, and tradition together. In this Art class, children are learning how to use local materials, such as soft bamboo, to design and handcraft beautiful baskets.

Four days a week, our campers explore Math, reading and writing, cooking traditional meals, and creating unique art pieces. We believe in passing down wisdom—encouraging older generations to share their knowledge with the youth.

Sayap Africa is also funding language classes to preserve and teach local dialects. We don’t want to lose them.

This is what STEAM in Africa looks like: innovation rooted in culture, community, and sustainability.

Kudos to our local teams in Africa.
