Campaign Spotlight
Word from the CEO
As the year draws to a close, I implore you to embrace the spirit of generosity by supporting projects that uplift communities across 10 African countries. Your compassionate contribution to our African sustainability Initiatives campaign will empower us to make a real difference.
In a world grappling with challenges like global warming, health crises, conflicts, and educational disparities, your support becomes a beacon of hope. I've witnessed the resilience of young minds—individuals from prestigious institutions and grassroots volunteers—who, despite their own academic commitments, strive to bring positive change to Africa. Their dedication inspires us, and we are immensely grateful.
Your donation doesn't just fund initiatives; it forges empathetic connections. It enables these young change-makers to bridge gaps, foster inclusivity, and promote sustainable development. Together, we're not merely addressing problems; we're building a foundation for lasting transformation.
SAYAP AFRICA Initiatives is more than a cause; it's a global movement to enhance the quality of life for those we serve. Your generosity aligns you with this noble endeavor, making a meaningful impact on diverse projects across sectors.
The magnitude of our global challenges requires collective action. Your commitment, alongside other dedicated leaders and supporters, is the driving force behind the progress we aim to achieve. I extend my deepest gratitude. Time is of the essence, and your support is a catalyst for positive change.
Remember, your end-of-year donation is not only an investment in a brighter future for Africa but can also be matched for greater impact.
Join us in making a difference at www.sayapafrica.org. Your contribution matters more than ever.
Thank you for being a crucial part of SAYAP AFRICA's journey.
Warm regards.
Recent News
Sayap Africa Global is thrilled to announce our upcoming partnership with CoolVeg, a business founded by MIT D-Lab Researcher, Eric Verploegen, PhD. This initiative aims to foster the use of clay pot coolers through training programs being pioneered by CoolVeg, revolutionizing the preservation of fruits and vegetables. This innovative approach holds the potential to significantly reduce food waste, shorten transportation times, and enhance nutrition and food security in regions with arid climates.
Operating on the principle of evaporative cooling, these clay pot coolers function without the need for electricity. In Mali, an astounding 98% of users have reported decreased food waste, while an impressive 88% have shared that their consumption of fruits and vegetables has increased. We are enthusiastic about collaborating with CoolVeg to extend the reach of these clay pot coolers through our chapters in Chad and Senegal, fostering a tangible and positive impact across Africa!
Past Announcements
We are happy to announce the graduation of our pilot SAYAP AFRICA STEAM Academy cohort! Students were celebrated for their achievement at the Sayap Africa STEAM Academy center in Cameroon and received a certificate of completion. Through this program, African youth developed knowledge in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM) disciplines via hands-on activities. They take away the ability to be proactive, collaborate with others, solve interdisciplinary problems, and make informed risks – as it is these qualities combined with STEAM skills that will be at the core of the change-makers of tomorrow. We are beyond proud of our students!
We hope you continue to follow our journey and appreciate all donations in support of our cause!
SAYAP AFRICA is happy to announce the succesful installation of a brand new clean drinking water system to Eseka High School! After 35 years with no clean drinking water, the high school now has a clean water provision. We will continue assisting communities and providing resources through our projects spanning 15 African countries!
Sayap Africa is offering MIT students a unique opportunity to collaborate on a project that focuses on developing sustainable solutions for critical issues facing Africa. The project aims to improve global healthcare, create decent habitats, and promote capacity building and entrepreneurship programs across 15 African countries. This partnership offers MIT students a chance to work alongside an established organization, leveraging their knowledge and skills to make a positive impact in these areas and address the pressing issues facing the African continent.

WHAT WE DO
We assist affected communities and provide needed help with their focal points and volunteers in Africa.
We work to remove obstacles for girls’ education and the opportunities to a better, healthier life.
In Africa, we want to work toward ensuring that every person never goes to bed hungry and receives at least one good meal.
Sayap Africa will create private initiative incubators where entrepreneurs can transform their ideas and skills into new businesses.
We provide medical supplies and equipment to rural centers to help improve healthcare and promote maternal and childcare health.
Agriculture is important because it is linked to the protection of the environment and the fight to end hunger.
Women and girls represent half of the world’s population and half of its potential.
We will build educational bridges for a brighter future for everyone in Africa.
One of the greatest causes hardship in Africa is the lack of access to clean drinking water.
We need you and your help
At Sayap Africa, we rely heavily on volunteers both at the headquarters and in local communities in Africa where we operate. We are always in need volunteers who are dedicated to donating their time, talents and ideas towards serving the most vulnerable.
